Luck has NOTHING to do with it ...

When I tell someone about my experience to Brasil, Spain. and then proceed to mention of my previous other experiences they automatically tell me how lucky I am. And I always use to get a little aggravated, as luck had nothing to do with how I was able to study abroad and experience so much. Now though after much thought I have come to the conclusion that there was some luck involved.

I was lucky enough to be raised to always follow my dreams no matter what one said.
I am lucky to be to so determined that I refuse to let anything stop me from doing what I want to do.
I am lucky enough to have been able to not only live abroad for a year in Italy, but also for a year in Brasil and a semester to Spain. Every single one which greatly helped me become the person I am today.
I am lucky enough to have met so many amazing people from all over the world, who constantly inspire me to travel and learn new things.
I am lucky enough to have been exposed to different cultures and backgrounds other than my own. Thus allowing me to have a greater understanding of where others come from.
I am lucky enough to have made such amazing friends both close and far. Who I truly do not know what I would do without, and all who have so greatly influenced my life that words can not even express my graduated towards them.
I am lucky enough to have a great family who is my support system and has always been there to cheer me on. Who have made me who I am today, and without them would not where I am today.

And the list of luck can go on and on. But even with all the luck that I seem to have, my gratitude towards every person, that has shaped my life and all the experiences I have been given a chance to part take in, can never be fully expressed in words. But even having every single one of them be apart of my life is the purest of luck I could have possibly had. As without them all this so called "luck" I seem to have to travel all over would never have even become a reality.
